Exclusive 'The Town' Extended Blu-ray Featurette: Affleck On Directing

Ben Affleck's sophomore directing effort, "The Town," is getting the collector's edition treatment for an upcoming Blu-ray re-release. In addition to an extended cut of the film, the package will include a booklet with behind-the-scenes information and photos, prop replicas and an alternate ending. In an interview for a production documentary, Affleck shares some of his experiences being actor and director on "The Town." "Directing, to me, is less a sense of 'Oh, no, now I have more power' than it is 'I have more things to worry about. I have more responsibility,'" Affleck said. "You're an actor, you have the luxury of worrying about your performance, your character, the integrity of what you're trying to do, but you feel like you have the world on your shoulders or at least the whole movie on your shoulders when you're directing." Despite the difficulty of his many role on the film, Affleck looks back on the road to making the movie positively. Marvel Studios alum joins Legendary

Tim Connors has ankled Marvel Studios to become chief operating officer of Legendary Entertainment. Connors was instrumental in launching the film division of the comicbook publisher and will now manage day-to-day operations and business affairs at Legendary, working closely with company president and chief creative officer Jon Jashni. "We are pleased to welcome Tim to the Legendary family," said Legendary topper Thomas Tull. "He brings a great wealth of experience and business acumen to our company and we look forward to reaping the benefits of his expertise." Connors was chief operating officer at Marvel Studios since 2008 and executive VP of business affairs and operations since 2006. While at Marvel, he oversaw all business transactions for the studio including the production and distribution of "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "The Avengers." "I'm proud to have been a part of what the Marvel team has accomplished over the past six years and honored to be joining Legendary at a time when the company is on the verge of significant growth," Connors said. "They are spearheading bold new initiatives which I am excited to help them accomplish." Legendary is currently producing "Man of Steel," "Pacific Rim," "Jack the Giant Killer" and soon has "Wrath of the Titans" and "The Dark Knight Rises" out in theaters. It's also readying "Seventh Son," an adaptation of "Mass Effect" and a reboot off "Godzilla." Before Marvel, Connors worked in business affairs at DreamWorks and headed up business affairs for Artists Production Group and Artists Management Group. Connors' duties at Marvel will now be split between David Galluzzi, who serves as chief counsel, and Rob Steffens, executive VP of operations and planning for Marvel Entertainment and Marvel Studios' general manager of operations and finance.
