Now, hear me out, I know this has been answered many places as
"Variations on a Theme from Pachelbels Canon in D Major by David
Lanz", and when I google the audition, that is indeed the song that is
played. But here's the strange thing; when I watched this on tv in my
country, that was NOT the song played! I had taped the show, so I
watched it again to make sure, and it is not the same song, but the
same audition. In my clip there is no piano, but some other strange
instrument, and a female voice in the background. No lyrics or
anything, which makes it harder to google. Has anyone else seen this
version, know why it's different, and know which song it is? I want
that song!
